The challenge
Access to quality healthcare depends on the district hospital: close enough to reach, equipped enough to treat. Elevating existing facilities to full district-hospital capability is among the most direct investments a health system can make.
What we delivered
The programme was delivered under the “Healthy Mother and Child Project” supported by the ENI Foundation, spanning infrastructure improvements and healthcare systems development at each of the eighteen facilities.
The outcome
The programme supports the transformation of the eighteen facilities into fully functional district hospitals, strengthening access to quality healthcare services across the Western Region.
